What's inside

Built for the habit, not the spreadsheet.

LiftDay isn't another set/rep logger. It's the answer to "did I do it today?" — and the gentle visible proof that you have.

Your Climb

Nine progression stages from a quiet field at day 0 to a climber reaching the summit at day 365. Every check-in moves you up.

One-tap log

No sets, no reps, no spreadsheet. “I Worked Out” or “Rest Day” — that's the whole interaction.

Forgiving streaks

Pick a weekly target (3, 4, 5, 6, 7 days). LiftDay forgives flexible weeks as long as you hit your number.

Your Why

Write down your reasons. LiftDay surfaces them on the days you need them most.

Letters to Future You

Seal a message today, delivered the day you hit a milestone. A note from the version of you who started.

Privacy-first, always

No accounts. No cloud. No analytics. Your streak, journal, mood, and reasons stay on your device.

The Climb

Watch yourself become someone new.

Privacy

Your story stays yours.

LiftDay is built on a simple promise: the version of you that shows up today is private. We never see it. We never sell it. We don't have it.

No accounts

No email. No login. No password to forget. Open the app and you're in.

No cloud

Your workouts, journal, mood entries, reasons, and letters live only on your device.

No analytics

No tracking SDKs. No usage telemetry. We literally have no server to send data to.

Reset anytime

Settings → Reset all data wipes everything in one tap. Nothing lingers. Nothing syncs.

The builder

Made by one person who needed it.

I built LiftDay because the apps for tracking gym days all wanted me to log sets, reps, weight, RPE, and rest timers — when all I actually needed was a clear answer to one question: "did I go today?"

What I wanted was something quiet — a daily nudge that didn't try to optimize me, didn't sell me a coach, didn't sync my body to a stranger's server. Something that made consistency feel like an adventure instead of a chore.

That's what LiftDay is. One tap. One climb. Yours.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is LiftDay only for people who lift weights?

No. Any workout counts — lifting, running, cycling, swimming, yoga, sport, even a long walk. LiftDay tracks the habit of showing up, not the kind of training you do.

What happens if I miss a day?

Pick a weekly target (3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 days). LiftDay's streak forgives flexible weeks as long as you hit your target. Miss your number and the streak resets — but you can start fresh whenever.

Do I have to log what I lifted?

No. That's the point. LiftDay isn't a set/rep tracker. You tap “I Worked Out” or “Rest Day” once and you're done. If you also keep a separate logger, they live happily side-by-side.

How does privacy actually work?

Everything LiftDay stores — your streak, journal entries, mood, reasons, letters, achievements — lives in your device's local database. We have no servers. No account system. No analytics SDK. Nothing leaves your phone.

Is LiftDay free?

Yes. The full streak tracker, calendar, achievements, climb, journal, reasons, and letters are free forever. Premium adds Custom Milestones, Weekly Review, Mood & Performance insights, and future themes/icons.

What does Premium cost?

Weekly: $2.99 · Monthly: $4.99 · Yearly: $34.99 (best value). You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.

What's the 9-stage climb?

A pixel-art mountain that evolves with your streak — a quiet field at day 0, a climber reaching the summit at day 365. Stage 1 unlocks immediately. Stages roll out at day 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180, and 365.

What if I'm coming back after a break?

Open the app, tap “I Worked Out,” start a new streak. LiftDay doesn't shame you. Every lifter misses days. Today is a new day.

Will LiftDay nag me?

Only if you ask it to. There's an optional daily reminder, plus a single "streak at risk" nudge if you're about to break a streak you've built. Both are off until you turn them on.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. LiftDay is built natively for iPhone with iOS 17 and up. Android is on the table once iOS is settled.

Today is a new day.

Start the climb. One tap, every day, for as long as you want it.
